Recertification of the ISO 27001 standard for colocation & cloud computing at Beyond.pl

In September 2020, Beyond.pl successfully completed the ISO/IEC 27001 standard recertification process. The recertification refers to the vital scope of the company’s activity, which is the provision of colocation and cloud computing services in the form of private and public clouds.

The audit covered all the operator’s facilities: hyper-edge Data Center 1 in the center of Poznań and a core facility, Data Center 2, on the premises of the currently expanded campus. This year’s audit was carried out and issued by the international certification body TÜV SÜD Management Service GmbH.

Beyond.pl has been formally compliant with the 27001 standard since 2017, when it successfully completed the first audit process. The ISO/IEC 27001 standard is internationally recognized as one of the main in information security. The standard indicates the requirements for confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information. It covers all issues related to the protection of data created, stored, and processed in the company. Its purpose is to verify and strengthen security, taking into account the sources of threats, including people, business processes, and technologies. This standard is part of the procedures related to the building of Business Continuity Planning, which enable efficient response to crisis situations and even unpredictable disasters. For customers using data center services in the area of ​​data processing, it guarantees that the data is used only for the purpose they were entrusted and indicates that the operator fulfills the obligation to process data according to the law.
