Update of rules relating to physical access to Data Center facilities of Beyond.pl due to COVID-19 pandemic

In connection with the evolution of the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, Beyond.pl is updating its rules regulating access to the Data Centers facilities for all non-Beyond.pl employees visiting the facilities. The overriding goal of Beyond.pl in the current situation is to secure and maintain the business continuity of all services and to guarantee the safety of our and our customers’ and their representatives’ employees.

As a result we have imposed a significant limitation of persons who are allowed to visit and move about Beyond.pl’s Data Centers facilities – both for our administrative employees and representatives of customers and their partners. Only those visits required to carry out tasks of critical importance are allowed upon prior notification.

Our Smart Hands technical support teams are at your disposal to take on any role that can be done by our team limiting the amount of non-critical human-to-human interaction. As a result of this increase workload our Smart Hands team may experience slight delays in addressing non-critical matters. All work will be treated with appropriate priority reflecting the level of its critical importance. We accept your understanding and cooperation in relation to this matter. In very critical cases, in case you as our customer have not purchased Smart Hands support services from Beyond.pl – those which are of utmost importance will be provided free of charge. Otherwise, if you wish to purchase Smart Hand support for your services please contact our sales representative or at the email below.

At the same time, we would like to remind you that all individuals visiting Beyond.pl’s offices or technical facilities are obliged to strictly comply with the rules set out in the COVID-19 interal regulations. Such regulations will be provided upon entry and due to the development of COVID-19 will be adjusted on an as required basis.

We count on your full understanding and cooperation in regards to this unique situation. We would like to ensure you that Beyond.pl is monitoring the development of COVID-19  on a current basis and introducing all recommendations from authorities and taking all actions necessary to ensure that your services are not endangered. We appreciate your contribution to this matter. COVID-19 is something that is affecting the lives of many individuals and we hope that together we can contribute to decrease its negative impact. In case you have any questions, we remain at your disposal. Please contact us at help.desk@beyond.pl.

Beyond.pl continues to monitor and actively respond to the changing conditions caused by the spread of COVID-19

To help protect the safety of our team members, clients, partners and communities, we have enacted the following policies:

  • Prohibited travel to CDC-restricted countries to our staff
  • Limited travel of all our other employees to essential travel only
  • Instructed employees to work from home if their role, client requirements, security and accessibility to all necessary systems and tools allows it, and implemented extra precautions for those whose responsibilities require them to be in the office or at the worksite
  • Restricted visitation to our facilities by clients, partners and vendors to business-critical visits only
  • Implemented enhanced office hygiene protocols and communicated CDC-guidelines for personal hygiene
  • All business meetings are mostly held online
  • Interviews and new employees onboarding are held online

Our both data centers are fully operational, as usual, and delivering excellent client service remains our top priority. We have established a cross-functional Business Continuity and Pandemic Preparedness team that meets daily to continually reinforce and update our preparedness plans as the situation changes.

We will continue to monitor the situation and adjust our policies as appropriate.

If you are a client or a partner and have questions or need additional guidance, please reach out directly to your Client Manager.

Thank you for your understanding and active support as we continue working through this unprecedented situation and doing our part to limit the spread of the virus.
