Beyond.pl as Partner at IDC Predictions 2017 in Warsaw

IDC Predictions are a series of events for ICT leaders organized across Europe by IDC, an international research agency. Discussions participants are top C-level professionals from each country, who together provide a local perspective on disruptive global trends. IDC Predictions are designed to let participants look more closely into the future, get inspired by others, and map industry opportunities.

This year’s Warsaw edition was held on 7th February at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel.

The event lasted more than 12 hours and gathered more than 300 local ICT leaders. It started with a video announcing that Beyond.pl Data Center 2 is now fully operational (watch video). The agenda was divided into 6 parts, each focusing on important technology trends, such as Cloud Computing, IoT, Mobility and Cognitive Systems. There has been much talk about the world entering the next phase, the so-called 4th Platform: Augmented Humanity.

IDC Predicitons 2017 was summed up during Experts Panel, attended also by Bartłomiej Danek, the Vice President of Beyond.pl. Main subject of the discussion was an attempt to answer the question whether rapid development of technology is an opportunity or a threat to solving global crises.
