Official statement about e24cloud migration

To whom it may concern,

On the 19th of March 2018, we informed about e24cloud’s new location in Data Center 2 in Poznan. The migration of e24cloud’s resources from Warsaw to the other location of Beyond.pl in Poznan (Data Center 2) is due to a law being enforced regarding the General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR/RODO. The migration will guarantee better standards of data storage protection based on its own IT infrastructure and industry certifications – Rated 4 according to ANSI/TIA-942 and ISO 27001.

We set the deadline on the 19th of April for clients to transfer servers from Warsaw to Poznan. We released a video with guidelines which has been available on e24cloud.com/migracja. Our e24cloud experts have been also at the clients’ disposal.

We are aware that not all users have transferred their own virtual machines from Warsaw to Poznan within the due date. However, we want to underline the fact that we did our best in order to inform the clients about the changes. Moreover, to support them with any technical issues regarding the migration that could have arisen. We made use of all channels to inform about the necessity of transferring machines: information in the admin panel, a series of mailings, social media and phone calls. We also want to emphasize that it is the clients’ responsibility to update contact details in our data base.

Simultaneously, we declare that users who have not transferred machines, did not lose the data. The virtual machines have been stopped and are awaiting the migration. We ask all the clients who did not finish the migration process to contact us urgently at support@e24cloud.com.

Sincerely,

Bartosz Misiaszek

e24cloud Product Manager
